In this episode we play Pistol Puma’s winning mix from our remix contest, drop a new remix by Ethan White of Jay-J’s track “Decide,” JKriv picks a current tune he’s diggin, and much more TS music!

A new set of remixes dropped this week from our own TSTC Records, “In My Fantasy Remixes” featuring a slew of great new mixes to compliment the original.
This release features a massive selection of sounds, from DJ Spinna’s signature beats and synths to Tom Moulton’s classic remix style, to Ezel’s deep and downtempo approach and Jask’s smooth touch. Tortured Soul’s JKriv and Ethan White round it out with their distinctive production styles, to create a package capable of handling warm-ups to peak time. And of course, all the mixes feature our own John-Christian Urich’s signature vocal stylings!!

It’s starting to get chilly in NYC, but we’re ready to warm it up this weekend with a trip to two of our favorite southern cities!!
This Friday October 9th we’re at the Kennedy in Tampa, and then Saturday Oct 10th it’s our much loved Apache Cafe in ATL. Dont miss it!

The calls have already started to come in from some startled fans (out taking their kids shopping, perhaps?) but it’s true, Another Lover (Dimitri from Paris Mix) was selected to be one of 25 songs in the stores’ “jukebox.”
We’re hoping that it will turn a whole new group of people on to our sound so we’re pretty excited about it…that is stoked.

We’re kickin off the season of our LOVELY monthly parties this weekend! First up it’s this Friday at the Double Door Chicago, where we’ll be joined by vocalist Dajae, members of the The Right Now and DJ Gene Farris. Yeah, yeah…back to the midwest for a couple of great shows. This Saturday we’re at the afterparty for the Wicker Park festival with Jamie Lidell at the Congress Theater in Chicago, and then it’s over to Milwaukee to play Turner Hall. Come check it!
South Africa July Trip Cancelled. :(
It is with a heavy heart that we bring you this sad news, but the Tortured Soul shows planned for Durban and Johannesburg are not happening. We would like you all to know that we had nothing to do with this cancellation and we tried to do everything in our power to get to South Africa this July to play – from schedule changes, postponements, etc – but in the end, it was completely out of our hands.
We know this is very last minute notice for many of you, and for this we apologize – we would have let you know sooner but up until a day or two ago we were still holding on to a glimmer of hope that the whole thing would pan out.
The promoters of the event have assured us that they will refund any tickets that have already been purchased.

Finally, we would like all our South African fans to know just how much we love and appreciate you.

Yes it’s been a long 2 years since we played our first show in South Africa at the Capetown Jazz Fest, and now we’re finally heading back. This time we’ll be in Durban for the 3rd of July Annual Hat Party and Joburg the following week, with plenty of time in-between to soak in the beautiful country. Needless to say, WE ARE PSYCHED!!! Welcome to our New Site!
Here it is – our brand new website! Finally!!! Anyway, we’re quite pleased with it and hope you will be too. Please give us some feedback!
We just finished touring in Europe, playing our first few CD release shows abroad and now we’re back to hit the mid-west and northeast US – hard! We’re also looking forward to the Electric Daisy Festival in L.A. later in June, where we’ll be playing alongside Oakenfold, Paul Van Dyk, Fatboy Slim, Infected Mushroom, Mark Farina and Dennis Ferrer among many others…
We’ve been getting a tremendous response from the new album “Did You Miss Me” and it was great to see so many of you singing along at our hometown CD release show in NYC. Check out the Tour Dates page to see when we’re coming through your town – we can’t wait to play some of these new tunes for you all!
